EmCon 2009 - 2nd International Conference on Occurrence, Fate, Effects, and Analysis of Emerging Contaminants in the Environment

EmCon 2009 will focus on the most recent developments and findings concerning the occurrence, fate, effects, and analysis of Emerging Contaminants, such as pharmaceuticals, antibiotics, hormones, personal care products, nanoparticles, and their degradation products in the environment.

Keynote speakers are Karen Kidd - University of New Brunswick, Canada, Kevin Thomas - Norwegian Institute for Water Research, Bent Halling-Sorensen - University of Copenhagen - Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Thomas Bucheli - Agroscope Reckenholz-Tanikon Research Station ART, Switzerland.
