Conference "Linnaeus ECO-TECH '10" - 16.05.2010

Aim: Kalmar Eco-Tech is based on the concept of development and establishment of cooperation between the academic sector, the business sector and policy makers with the purpose of improving interdisciplinary cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region and the World. The objective is to promote cost-effective environmental friendly technologies towards sustainability. The main goal of the Conference is to increase the knowledge and research in the area of environmental science and environmental engineering with particular focus on environmental chemistry and furthermore to discuss and promote the research cooperation between Baltic scientists and scientists from the rest of the World. A special attention shall be devoted to emissions to the air from different solid waste and wastewater treatment and remediation systems.
Description: Linnaeus Eco-Tech’10 now offers a new session called: Waste-Cluster Session, an initiative proposed by the European Commission.
WASTE CLUSTER Initiatives focus on the creation of an international balanced network of (regional) waste management-related clusters, for mutual learning and exchange of knowledge, skills and technologies that will lead to an optimisation of waste management-related innovation and competitiveness excellence in Europe and Mediterranean countries.
On November 24, the conference invites you to be part of a special cluster-evening where you have the chance to mingle with the Waste-Cluster participants, invited companies from the Baltic Sea Region and representatives from the region. The objective is to create new project ideas in cooperation.

Fee: 5 500 SEK (full participation including two hotel nights, all meals, coffee breaks, gala dinner and a copy of the Proceedings of the conference).
