Conference MODFLOW and More 2011: Integrated Hydrologic Modeling - 09.11.2010

Time: June 5 - 8, 2011

Location: Colorado School of Mines campus in Golden, Colorado.

Description: The conference is dedicated to advances of all types of groundwater modeling, not just the development and use of MODFLOW. Typically 50% or more of the presentations have involved models other than MODFLOW or models based on MODFLOW. We seek to continue this tradition. We hope for a spirited discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of codes.

Organizer: International Ground Water Modeling Center

Colorado School of Mines http://igwmc.mines.edu/

Aims: The purpose of the conference is to bring together model users and developers to exchange ideas on the latest innovations in model applications, discuss the capabilities and limitations of currently available codes, and explore the needs and directions for future developments.

Deadlines: for abstracts 20th of Dicember 2010 and selected papers 4th of April, 2011.

Fee: The Conference registration fee is $595 (US), which includes the conference proceedings, evening receptions, lunches, and breaks. A reduced fee (50%) applies for students registered for a degree.
